Am using an atmega64a controller and 8MHz crystal and am beginner to avr timers.. can any one pls help me how to use timer3.. i just want to start a timer3 for 10s and once timer is expired i just want to blink led.

Sim900 at command format is for AT+SVR=1, but can i make this configurable .. SVR values say 1,2,3,4 will be stored in variable svr_val can i pass this variable value for AT command AT+SVR=svr_val but its giving error.
How to pass values to Sim900 AT command.
