Hi vivekroy,
Sorry for the low-res pictures. I might insert them as thumbnails. Here are the full-images:
For spectre output log, I did not find it in my simulation bench. I will upload it when I find it. Thanks!

Hi all,
I am doing Monte Carlo simulation with IC617 and TSMC 180nm PDK. I am using ADE explorer to do the simulation. But the simulation failed with the following error:
ERROR (EXPOLRER-5052): Monte Carlo run stopped because no statistical data generated for the test.
I ran different...
Hi dick_freebird,
Thank you for your reply. I just tried to changed the mapping of the " NAME METAL*/Purpose 'layer number' 'data type' " lines according to the pins information in the technology.
For example, I changed
to
according to
It seems the layout in Virtuoso has the correct layer...
Hi Dominik,
Thank you for your reply. But when export the Innovus design into OA format, it still need some map file. I do not have that with my kit.
Best,
Haochen
Hi all,
I am doing some digital implemtation staff. I used Innovus to do PnR, and export the layout using GDS format to virtuoso.
Problem: All the label layers imported to Virtuoso appear to be drawing layers. As you can see in the figure below:
My thoughts: The mapping file for exporting...
Not totally get what you said.
Basically terminating the load with a stable load impedance or terminating the source with a stable source impedance, and then conjugate matching the other port. The amplifier will get a stable work.
Thank you again.
Does this mean set fund freq in transient analysis as 10Ghz?
And for the small signal analysis, can I just break the connection of the load and the transistor, and measure the impedance look into each node? If that is the case, when I look into the transistor, the impedance is...
Hi BigBoss,
Thanks for reply. It is correct that when simulating oscillator, we should use HB simulation.
I firstly simulated transient waveform, and I found that the frequency changed if I change the step size. Then I did fs() to figure out what happend. It was worng. Now I cannot understand...
Hi pancho,
Thanks for reply. I tried Gear2 and the result does not change. You are right the amplitude of the fs() is not match with the one showed on the transient waveform. But the waveform still changed if I choose the step from 1ps to 10ps.

Hi all,
I am doing a simple negative resistasnce oscillator design using ADS. The transistor NE32484A is given in the Microwave Transistors Library of ADS. I built the oscillator based on the theory of Gonzales'z book. And when I did transient simulation for the first time, the oscillation...
Hi pancho,
Thanks a lot! I just did it and find what you said is right. I will contact the fab and see what happens. I will upgrade it then.
