Question about lossless RF power combiner

lossless combiner Thanks to all of you for the clarification. I'll be more specific in the functionality I want to achieve. There are two signals coming on the same path: wanted and interferer. Characteristics of the interferer are well known. I'd like to cancel interferer by combining it with...

Question about lossless RF power combiner

power combiner s21 Hi, Does anybody know if it is possible to implement 2 inputs RF power combiner with less then 3db insertion loss on each forward path? For example I have two identical inphase CW signals (2dbm each) at the inputs of the combiner (one per input). I want to see the same signal...

What about the phase noise of my phase locked source ?

2 activewei Could you share the name of the suppliers of such oscillators? I am personally looking for 10MHz with -150dBc@10KHz (preferably low-cost one). Thanks.

Talk about RF layout experiences about mobile phone.

2activewei May I ask you to clarify your statement about direct connection between modulator and synthesizer? Why I should expact any degradation in this case?

P*D 15.0 - buggy version or only me got the problems?

In my case Capture is losing all parts sometimes during the project saving. When I am trying to load this project - only nets remains on their places. I suppose that the reason is the version 9.2 that is still installed on the same computer.

    FR4 dielectric constant

fr4 dielectric constant Hi everybody, Could someone tell me what value of dielectric constant should I use for FR4 substrate in the 1-2GHz frequency range? I’ve tried to find out this searching via google and I was surprised by a results!!! Everyone indicate different value for 1 GHz starting...

Question about microstrip line width and impedance match.

Thanks for clarifying this for me. As far as I understand the reference impedance of each microstrip line inside the network does not really matter. It may be higher or lower then 50Ohm. The only important things are the final values of S11, S21, S31 and possibly input impedance at port 1, as in...

Question about microstrip line width and impedance match.

Hi everyone, My question may appear strange to you but I am a newbie in RF, that’s why I’m asking for your help. I have three-port network with port 1 for input, ports2 and 3 for output. All ports are 50 Ohm. Frequency range 1-2 GHz. In my application I need to split the incoming signal...
