I tried to design a LED light. I found two types of circuit.
1) with step down transformer and voltage regulator.
2) Without transformer by using capacitor and resistor alone.
Which one is better one?
If i'm using 3 white LED of 3.6v each.

I have designed my own PCB board with PIC18F67J60. I designed this for Ethernet application. I'm a newbie to this Ethernet concept. Now I need to program it.so can anyone give suggestion for starting this with simple program to connect my board with my pc.

I'm using pic18f Ethernet controller. and i have given a attachment for that rj45 connector to PCB. and 4 pin connector is not UTP. thats just 4 wire parallel connector.
