THANK YOU ALL FOR THE REPLY.. I GOT SOME MORE DOUBTS.. I HOPE YOU ALL CAN HELP ME OUT WITH THIS TOO..

why should we suppress harmonics in a wilkinson power divider? what are the problems caused by the presence of harmonics? what is the parameter to be considered in case of harmonic suppression? is it return loss at the input and output ports?
while simulating in software why are the even...
i have a set of issues,
1) i'm using AWR design environment. In case of the basic (conventional) power divider i'm getting the output. But in case of the optimized power divider in this software if i'm adding the capacitors at the schematic level i'm getting the output (i.e.) my Scattering...
thank you for both your replies it did help me!! the aim of my project is size reduction and harmonic suppression of the wilkinson power divider.. i took up the capacitive loading technique to achieve this...i have problem with adding the capacitors..do you have any idea regarding this?
hi sir,
thank you for your reply.. but i just wanted to know is there any advantage in designing power dividers at 1GHz .. because many IEEE journals have designed wilkinson power dividers operating at 1GHz but they have not mentioned any reason for choosing this frequency..
hi,
i have designed a wilkinson power divider for 1GHz.. i just want the know the significance of 1GHz .. what is the practical application and usage of of a wilkinson power divider at 1GHz?
hi there,
im trying to design a wilkinson power dividert working at 1GHz ... i have a doubt , i hv added standard chip cells in the layout from GDSII library of 0805 size in the layout and im trying to extract an em structure. is ther any possibility to specify if the 0805 cell is a capacitor ...
