Hi,
Want to design a fully differential opamp used in active rc leap-frog filter composition. Filter amps has 14pF and 15K resistor in the feedback.
Gain requirement is 45dB min and GB should be 120MHz. 65nm 1.2V supply.
Tried standard 2 stage fully diff topology with miller comp. That consumes...
@upvl,
Using "stb" is fine for Single ended structure. What if I have a fully differential opamp.
How would you suggest I should model the load seen by the opamp.
Thanks
Meghraj
Hello hafez,
I am designing the polyphase filter and am stuck at the exactly same problem as yours.
Cadence recommends following way to do the noise simulation in Complex filters: -
Problem
You are trying to do a Spectre noise simulation of a circuit with multiple inputs and/or outputs...
@ laoud and LvW
Filter is giving out I and Q signals. Since I am doing AC simulation, I and Q itself (each)are complex. Now we are interested in frequency response of I+jQ as a whole from -ve freq to + freq. This will in general create assymmetric frequency response across 0 freq.
How do we do...
For simulation part we can consider to apply 2 ac sources with 90 phase shift. But how would I plot the output with image frequency. How will I see how much Image rejection I am getting.?
Thanks Dick and PaloAlto,
I am going to try putting RC at the output as the bg is going to drive LDO's input cap. This seems like a brute force method (basically killing the BW) though.
BTW @PaloAlto :- Improving BW of the amplifier will shift the peaking frequency but it wont reduce the peak...
banba bandgap
Hello,
Designing a sub volt (Banba Type) bandgap.
I am having problem that my low frequency PSRR is say -40dB and then the PSRR rises to -29dB at say 10MHz and then again starts reducing.
Need to improve this peaking in PSRR curve.
Please help on this.
My understanding is:
1) DC...
