h-bridge tip125
what type motor are you using?i suggest you check first the type and rating of the motor, what its rated current, voltage, and other rated conditions.
from there, you could start what type of transistors are you going to use.
With your current circuit, check first the voltage...
There are no guesses in this problem. Basically, there are two instances to solve the unknown.... one is when is the initial point of reference wherein time t =0, and the other is the time when the two balls are at the same height which we need to compute. At this point, t = unknown.
Usinfg the...
Re: projectile problem
maybe you could provide the details... what I presented was the way in solving projectile problems.... and that was what you stated in the subject heading. anyways, good for you that you got the correct answer.
Re: Engineering Science
speed, s = dx/dt, x- dist travelled, t - time elapsed. ( you dont care about the direction)
velocity, V= speed w/ a vector component.... ( has a reference point)
tangential velocity, w(omega) = V*V/r , velocity squaredover the radius of curvature
acceleration, a =...

I agree with e_eja. I would prefer N-channel & P channel MOSFETs. That way, you don't need to bother the current configuration of the transistor just to ensure that those transistors are in saturation. FETs are voltage controlled, so its easier for you to do the tweaking...
you may try to browse into the catalogs of Allen-Bradley, Honeywell, Seimens and other automation companies. Also, you may look into other custom built motor drives. You could always search the internet for the manufacturers.
if its just an MCC or a control panel, it should have some indicator lamps to guide you to check if some problems/ malfunctions occur. So first step here is to check if something is blinking red... red is the usual color of faults. This will pinpoint you to where to start. Common failures here...
Re: projectile problem
first, solve for the x-componet (Vox)and y-component of(Voy) the initial velocity.
Voy =(1/√2)*earth esc velocity )*sinα
Vox =(1/√2)*earth esc velocity )*cosα
then solve for the time it takes for the projectile in the air. ( Vfinal (Vf) here is zero)
so,
t =...
Re: inverted pendulum
an encoder is a good alternative. plus, adding a feedback control circuitry/algorithm such as a PI or PID controller to compensate.
agree! for it to be a CMOS inverter, it should be a P-channel and an N-channel. That's why its called CMOS! Otherwise, if both N-channel, its not CMOS and of course not an inverter.
As what was noted in the design, it should be ran in the Linear region wherein the threshold voltages of the two...
From my understanding, it seems that your using just a simple power supply to pwer up some components. If you're using this just to power up active devices without timing constraint, then the speed of transition is not significant. Using a higher value of capacitor is the best option to minimize...
