    ON measuring circular polarization antenna

In the book it is said that :"the rate of the linear probe antenna is much greater than the rotation rate of the test antenna "So what is the actual rotate rate of the two antenna? How much can be called greater? and what about the data recorder rate?

how to simulate a PIN diode in CST?

Yes, I do think they should be included

how to simulate a PIN diode in CST?

I didn't use a diode model in CST directly but using a R for open and a C for switch off .

how to connect SMA with the aperture coupled antenna?

in order to feed an aperture coupled antenna, because the ground is sandwiched and covered totally, how to connect the ground to a SMA connector? thanks!

how to simulate a PIN diode in CST?

does the R mean forward resistance , Gs the reciprocal of reverse resistance, C the reverse capacitance(about 0.15pF)? Thanks.

deembed ground signal ground pads ?

Thanks. But when using pad together, the pad seems also a part in radiation. I hope it will not bring in strong parastic effect.

    a question about cpw feed

I am interested to know how to deembed the port's affect when using the port as probe pad? I read some related papers but still puzzled. when simulating, the pad is a part of the antenna,so if deembed it, the result will change.how to deal with that?

caculation of quarter wave transformer in microstrip antenna

microstrip quarter-wave length transformer in the attached paper, the frequency is 6GHz,but the transformer is 4.922mm long, not lambda/4 at all. why is that? And in caculating the resistance Zin of patch, I get G1=0.0025, G12=0.0042,it seems not a right result! thanks!

deembed ground signal ground pads ?

In designing an on chip antenna, which way is right? 1. The pads are simulated as a part of the antenna, but we need to de-embed the effect of pads afterward. 2.design the antenna only, the pad is added in experiment.(one paper say this way),then do we need to deembed the pads' effect? thanks.

excitation of inverted f antenna using hfss

here is my hfss model. the three pads are used to connect the GSG(ground signal ground) probe. I find a paper talking about how to set the port of GSG probe as I made in the model. However,I cannot get the same result with the paper.the paper's result is get from IE3D.

excitation of inverted f antenna using hfss

    U are right,the freq is 60GHz,here I send the paper I followed.

excitation of inverted f antenna using hfss

I tried the way u said but still not right. I think that it is because the middle pad is not a ground pad but a signal pad. a lumped port should be drawn connecting signal part and ground part. however,I still donnot know how to solve this.

excitation of inverted f antenna using hfss

thanks for ur answer. I know that a port should be put in where u said, but I donnot know how to set it in the HFss,can u explain it ? I connect a bond wire between the two ground pads and there is resonance now, however, the resonance frequency is changing with the diameter of the bond wire.Is...

excitation of inverted f antenna using hfss

inverted f antenna hfss example the red part is the lumped port in my simulation ,is this right? from s11 it seems that the impedance matching badly from 10G until 100GHz. thanks. Added after 1 hours 18 minutes: this antenna is proposed to use in cmos circuit, the invert f part is...

    a question about cpw feed

these are all cpw feed, I wonder what is the different usage of them?why do people always use the second feed in silicon based antenna?thanks.
