Hi,
There will probably a AT command set specified by the LoRa module manufacturer to communicate with a microcontroller. Search on their website or contact the module manufacturer.
Hi,
Let me clear the confusion. The pedestal (base) voltage is 24V. The protocol pulses are anywhere between 5-10V. Hence, to get the 5-10V over 24V, I am switching 34V so that I get 10V pulses over 24V. The detector will recognize pulses over 24V as valid pulses. These pulses should be 5-10V...
Hi,
Unfortunately, 24V down to 20V or 16V will not work as per specs of the smoke detectors. It has working range of 34V to 28V. Also, I have to consider cable load that will be connected in real scenario. So 34V dropped to may 28V due to cable load is acceptable.
I will measure the current output of the current sensor amplifier LT6100 on scope and will post the waveform. The load are addresable smoke detectors which communicate with the controller using pulses over 24V pedestal.
Hi,
I tested with the boost converter circuit with full load. At 130mA, the waveform is clean. As I start increasing the load current, there is a droop in the first pulse of around 2V. I have attached the waveform. I have also observed that the waveform at the gas of the MOSFET also droops...
Hi,
You are right. I removed the comparators to be on a safer side while increasing the load current. I have kept a gain of 50 for LT6100. Hence, when I increase the load current about say 130mA, the output of the LT6100 (current sense amp) hits saturation (0.13mA*0.75ohm*50 = 4.875V).
I read...
Hi Experts,
I have developed an IOT enabled temperature sensor with ESP-07 module. I have an mobile app and a server to which I post the temperature data through MQTT. I have tested it on home wi-fi, office wi-fi, open wi-fi (public places) etc.
I recently got a chance to connect this to a hotel...
Hi All,
I was able to identify the problem and resolve them. There were two issues:
1. MOSFET biasing: I used the solution given by KlausST and it worked. The gate voltage now is around 17V (half of 34V due to two 3.3K voltage divider). So the MOSFET now works within its specs and switching...
Hi,
I have built & tested the DC current sensing ckt successfully. I have attached the final schematic. Some components are not populated R163, C160, C88, C159, C95. R138 is a short. Now I am facing another issue regarding the voltage pulses being generated at junction of D13 & D14. These are...
Hi Experts,
I am trying to generate a set of waveforms for my new project using a P-channel MOSFET. I am able to successfully generate the waveform. However, when I connect a load of only few mA (150mA) to it, the waveform dips.
The protocol (waveform) is basically from a pedestal of 24V DC and...
Hi,
You can try M1506 from Lynq for 3g.
Since it is a vehicle tracking application, you can think of GSM+GPS module. You can try L216 or L128 from Lynq again.
Hi,
The blue probe seems to be the culprit. I connected another probe in its stead and the waveform is clean. I did probe check and followed the instructions to turn the yellow screw with a non-metallic object, but the waveform does not straighten. I guess that probe has gone bad.
Anyways, I...
