You can use several techniques.
- use a small copper wire and solder it on the pcb, close to the chip to be removed. Pull it under the IC and heat the pins one by one, while pulling the wire under the pins. Before you do this, I recommend to first used solder wick and flux.
- use hot air...

Why not use a MMC card, it can be interfaced by the SPI bus?
The only extra interfacing you will need is a level converter, since the micro probably operates at 5v and the MMC at around 3v.
The big advantage is that you are only sacrificing a few i/o pins on the MCU and the code is very easy.
Hi All,
I am trying to tune my Audi A3 car by changing the CAN-BUS data from the main ECU to the diesel pump computer. Devices that do this can already be bought, but are way to expensive and there is no fun in simply buying... :)
Does anyone have a usable library for CAN-BUS. For instance...
