Hi Team,
I just started using Altium and facing the following issue
How can we set clearance rule for Bunch of net class to Default nets (Non net class)
Best regards,
Jayakrishnan J
Marce, Yes you are right,
I guessed it from Rapports layer stack up, I saw his layer stack up required solid ground return for all the signals,
we should know the type of Design, signal Frequency, etc
I felt my stack up was more generic, may be I am wrong.
Is it Analog or Digital Board?
My suggestion
If Analog
TOP
GND
SIG
PWR
GND

GND

GND

If Digital
TOP
GND

Friends,
Please check attached Scenario s of routing method for Bulk capacitor and
please let me know what will be pros and corns for the same
In our design Bulk capacitors were used Power input and in another design input to regulated supply.
Thanks,
Jay
Friend,
I am using 3 sets of 15A Switching supply for my analog circuit, not sure wether to use 1oz or 2oz copper thickness for my PCB, Please let me know your valuable thoughts.
Thanks,
Jay
Only split plane (copper) area should be more for high current not the clearance, so 25 mils clearance between planes is ok, only high voltage need more clearance to avoid arc effect.
Thanks,
Jay
Hi Amina,
In addition to above answers, If you want your signal to jump power split in power plane use adjacent signal layers to solid ground plane (Top / GND/ Signal1 /Signal2/Split PWR plane/Bottom), that way your signal will have solid return path in Ground plane.
Thanks,
Jay.
Friends,
Please let me know List of Good Quality PCB Manufacturers in India (From 2 layer to Multilayer), its needed very urgently for my company to order some boards.
Thanks in Advance,
Jay
Dear Friends,
Did anyone has or created standard document for Electric symbol creation, if so, please provide document or list of topics that’s required for it, thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jay
Vcc and Vdd is for positive supply - Dont know why he gave vdd as signal gnd, probably he might get the signal switching from VDD and GND from that connector, but signal name VDD is wrong
Vee and Vss is for negative supply - #GND not GND.
