dc resistance of antenna
How about antenna of GSM/CDMA radio base station? Zero or open? Which one is more common?
Added after 24 minutes:
I checked some technical notes about antenna of GSM macro radio base station, many of them are DC grounded for lighting protection.
Is there any...
dc resistance of 50 ohm antenna
Hi, all:
As we know RF components (for example RF load/terminator) has high frequency impedance of 50Ohm (telecommunication), most of them also have DC resistance of 50 Ohm. Why and how do they get 50Ω DC resistance?
How about antennas? Do all of them have 50Ω...
Hi, foxgan:
Of course I know I can measure the AM-PM curve using network analyzer. But right now, it's not convenient for me to do that. So I want to ask for someone's experience.
Thank you for your information.
Has anyone measured the AM-PM characteristic of a LDMOS power amplifier?
It's positive or negative?
I studied some papers about predistortion. I found that some linearizers in some papers have positive AM-PM characteristic while others have negative AM-PM characteristic. I feel strange.
I want...
I will graduate this july, I find a job as a RF design Engineer, my job is to do Base Station RF transceiver R&D. I have two years experience on LNA and PA design and some knowledge on Repeater. But I am not very family with BS RF transceiver design. For example: What's the difficulty and what's...
agilent spectrum analyzer *.sta file
My Spectrum analyzer is Agilent ESA E4404B, I can save my measurement result as a .sta file.
Can I translate it to .jpg file?
What software do I need? My os is windows.
thank you.
It's difficult for me make such measurement.
I just want to get a typical value of noise temp or available loss of a sma adapter.
I measured the NF of a 10dB attenuator, but there is a sma adapter in front of it. And the room temp is not 290K, it's about 300K.
The measurement value is about...
Hi,marcomdd:
yes, I am interested in noise temp of the SMA, It's not the SMA connector, but SMA female to female convertor.
At 290K, what's its noise figure or noise temperature?
Hi, sergio mariotti:
I am interested in dissipative loss.
I use common SMA female to female convertor,I mean it has no model and I don't know the producter. It has been used for a long time, more than 2 years.
The freq is about 2GHz.
Which value is more suitable for me?
Hi, radiohead:
This is ATF-54143 reference design. Have you ever used this circuit to design LNA with ATF-54143?
I have doubt about this circuit:
Please check these two Application notes:
