Hi Chucky,
Usually, in continuous time mode, I measure the op amp's offset by taking the difference between the two inputs and running a monte carlo to introduce mismatch into the circuit. That difference would be my offset. However, in a sample-hold environment, the dc operating point at the...
Hi,
I'm trying to simulate a Chopper Amplifier Input Offset Voltage in Cadence?
Does anyone know how to perform this operation? Is there a way to do this using PSS? If so, how?
Your responses would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
An Opamp generally consist of an output stage (i.e.- Class AB) that is intended to drive a resistive load. [ADC Drivers, Audio Amplifiers, etc.] OTA's are used in switched capacitor circuits where the load is mainly capacitive. An example of this is a folded cascode or 2 stage topology with very...
Hi,
I'm designing an op amp to buffer the output of a 12-bit 1 MSPS DAC. My question is how fast should the op amp settle to meet the requirements of less than 1/4 LSB? The output load of the amplifier is 10 KOhm || 100 pF.
I am having trouble finding the formula to compute this. Your response...
Re: mobility
Mobility has an inverse relationship to the charge's effective mass. Since electrons have a lower effective mass than holes, its mobility will be higher.
