Noise match is used for minimizing "Noise Factor" of an amplifier and gain match is used for maximizing the gain of an amplifier. However, for achieving a good noise factor for a multistage amplifier, you should you should consider noise match and gain match simultaneously. Power match is...
Re: A question on "electrical wall" and "magn
First, "electrical wall" denotes a plane that electric fields are perpendicular to it, and second, "magnetic wall" means a plane that electric fields are tangential to it.
div, grad, curl, and all that download
Your questions were essential questions, but in short I just can tell you that at products which we expect a vector in output we use cross product and otherwise we use dot product. And about your second question, fields at a dielectric interface can be...
Obviously there is a connection between input and output!!! But in the modeling of Op Amps the ratio between input and output voltages is ideally infinite. Because of the nature of Op Amps, Vin+, Vin- and Vout are in a circuit that produces ideally that relation.
Re: slot antenna simulation
Both HFSS and CST are good simulation softwares for your aim. i have tried HFSS and it is a user friendly software too. Also I have heard CST is a good antenna simulation software for your usage.
In fact Q factor is an important parameter of a device. It means: Quality of device. that is the ratio of energy stored in it to the ratio dissipated in it. For example, in the case of capacitor, the modeling shows that a parallel resistor can show the dissipated power and therefore you can...
Wilkinson power divider is obviously a good option for using if your bandwidth is not very much. However you can use it for higher bandwidths with a little degradation in quality. Also its size is smaller than any other power divider.
Re: ADS PROBLEM
You can at first parameterize all conductive patches but not other passive nor active elements in the layout design. then you can convert it to a block with some ports. afterwards you must import it in the schematic and add other active or passive elements.
This method can be to some extent true, but be careful. I think the accuracy isn't very much and also it depends on the measurement accuracy of antenna pattern.
