I think dielectric constant is constant parameter in many simulation software.
Usually dielectric constant is specifed with other design parameters in frist time.

For Microstrip antenna array design you should apply these steps:
1- design and simulte one patch
2- deisgn & simulate power divider or splitter
3 - select the feed network type (generally corporate feed is selected)
4 - simulated patches with power dividers

I seem Fast sweep in hfss at first, calculated some frequency in Bandwitdh and then uses the interpolation to calculated the all frequency Bandwitdh.

The Microwave Office(MWO) software's in good tool for design the feed network for microstrip antenna array.
There is a very good example in IE3D help.

HFSS dose not set default matrial for any structure.
for planar structure you should define the boundary such as "perfect E" or
"perfect H" or etc.

I decide to design the microstrip antenna array with 256 (16*16) elements.
I select the corporate feed type but I don't know how to impelement this structure. Please help me.
