Hello
Please can someone help me to get the SRF02 ranger to register correctly by sending the correct distance
in CM. At the moment it is only replying back '0' and its LED flashs according to my program loop.
First I used the ranger via I2C interface and that worked well. Now I changed that...
Hello
I'm using PIC18F2620 internal OSC @ 4MHz and i'm using the
ISL1208 RTC with the PIC.
Simple objective, is to set RTC alarm INT to 1minute reptitive cycle
so that the PIC wakes up via its INT0 after every minute and prints out on
hyper terminal. Sadly nothing seems to be happening. I...
hello
can some one please tell me how i can measure beyond 255cm i2c mode with the SRF02 ultrasonic ranger?
I can read the LOW byte but reading the high byte seems confusing....or can i only read upto 255cm? it does not say anywhere on the data sheet
i have observed that when lowbyte...
Hello
I have now managed to read in 'OK' replies from the modem successfully and I have confirmed this with the texting
mode as that works brilliantly. I can read in modem replies successfully via hyper terminal.
Anyway my main problem is with ftp and I’m enclosing in the program code for...
I have not tried reading in other replies from the modem.
However, I dont think i need to since when i communicate with the modem then my program
dedicatedly sits and waits in a loop and thats how the txting has worked brilliantly.
Anyway can you help with ftp?
Haseeb
Hello
I have finally managed to successfully and reliably transfer SMS texts from my PIC to my mobile via the Cinterion BG2 modem. It works brilliantly!. So that part of the experiment is successful and i know for
sure now that all my hardware is running smoothly. Im using CCS compiler...
Hi Kerim
thanks for the offer and help.
Yes I would certainly be interested in a redraw diagram from you with regards to the diode version as you have said in your last post.
Please can you post it here.
Im still open to options and trying out various tricks to get the heat dissipation down...
Hi
I have just successfully solved the problem. I had to feed in the circuit 18V DC instead of 24VDC and I also changed the resistor to 3R0 / 25W and this solved the heating problem successfully.
Now I have the same R1 over heating problem but this is now for a 24V AC version circuit...
Thank you so much!
I never thought of it that way....and you explained very well and it makes perfect sense.
I will try what you say and if any problem will get back to you.
Once again, thank you very much
Haseeb
Hello
I have a problem with my circuit as enclosed. R1 (25 W / 15 Ohms) is heating up too much. I intend to get back indication that
my lamps 1 and 2 have failed. Where it says (LP_Fail To PIC), thats the pin that is pulled HIGH when the optocoupler shuts off in the
event of a lamp...
hello
Im planning on a new project.
I want to setup a simple ftp communication from the pic to an ftp server.
Data to be sent will be simple txt files and no picture.
The pic is a PIC18F2620. I plan on using a GPRS modem that can support ftp protocol such as the Cinterion BG2 wireless...
