you're right , I found someone do that with 30 resistors in series
I was worried about voltage rating of my resistors , but I had some 1nF 2kv capacitors so I preferred to use series capacitors, 30 of them ! and it worked
thank you Klaus
Hi
I'm using a pcb mount ignition transformer in my project, i have designed the circuit and it works properly
I need to have a measurement of the output voltage of the transformer.the datasheet claims output voltage of at least 12kV and I have to check it
is there any method for measuring this...
Thank you FvM ,
I am checking the code to reduce that section , do you have some hints for initializing code optimization or can you offer some documents e.g. application notes or so
Hi
I'm doing a project using PIC16f1936 and using Hi-tech C compiler on MPLAB. I have code size and limited flash problem and trying to optimize the code
when I build the code and check the "psect usage map" I see that I have a psect named "cinit" with a large size .
actually I don't...
Re: The senso lm35 doesnt work in proteus.
at first you can check the sensor with simple voltmeter and then connectr to MCU
like this
maybe you have a problem in software library, be sure that it has simulator model for that component
you can do it by using CAPTURE/COMPARE/PWM MODULES of the microcontroller
refer to chapter 11 of the data sheet for more information about how to configure the registers.
before that you should decide your PWM frequency and resolution etc...
Hi
you can do it with simple comparator circuit sth like the image I attached
you can tune the voltage using potentiometer for example on 2 volts (for 2 ohm threshold)
as 1A current source you can use a power supply with current limiter and limit the current on 1A.
this is very simple one with...
in your schematic there is no LOAD on drain of the IGBT !it is dangereous test ! you must haveat least load resistance
- - - Updated - - -
there is not much differences they are similar
you can check the PWM waveform on the output with ohmic load and be sure that your driver and mosfets work correctly (output pulses are correct and sharp enough)
you can use bigger heat-sink and heat transfer pads or silicon glue between mos and heat sink and let it warm up
what is the part number of your Mosfet ? are you musing heat sink?
does nosfet have internal flyback diode? you have used d1n4007 as floyback diode for mosfet and also speedup for discharging resistors, that's not a good choice at all , you need a fast diode for fly back,
and for fast...
Re: Half wave rectifier, why place diode like this ?
these circuits are almost the same
but depend on your circuit reference node or GND
in first circuit the minus pin of the source and the load are the same and it is conventional
thats a switching mode power supply circuit and I guess its a fly-back type (I see pc817 optocoupler).
the transformer is ferrite core switching transformer with two output winding
the transformer is specially designed for that circuit
you can find design information in switcher IC datasheet...
Re: small rf remote with two digit lcd display.
7 segment LCM is the best choice for you , I think
they have low power consumption
some of them are provided with internal decoder IC and you can connect them through serial communication
you can find them easily
once ihave used some from...
