[SOLVED] What is the capacitance value of a Philips 100uM ?

Hello, I am trying to recap a power supply and found a small electrolyte axial Philips capacitor with value 100uM, is it 100uF? it measures 23uF on a capacitance meter... Thanks

mblock example of 4 momentary push buttons and one logic output for Arduino Nano board

I am trying to repair an vintage tape recorder, one of the custom logic chip has a bad input and wanted to build that function using Arduino. I am new to mblock and only wanted some input on how to code but I think I am on the right track after reading some posts, will test when I receive the...

mblock example of 4 momentary push buttons and one logic output for Arduino Nano board

One button at a time, What I want to achieve is that I want to set a latched output O1=Digital pin9 to 'low' state only when I press button B2=Pin2 and only reset that latched output to its initial 'high' state (on startup it is set to 'high') when one of the B1 (Pin1) ,B3(Pin2),B4(Pin4)...

mblock example of 4 momentary push buttons and one logic output for Arduino Nano board

Hello, Need Mblock example for Arduino Nano board according to the below: I have 4 momentary push buttons B1-B4 (momentary keyboard buttons) and one digital output DI which I need to code to one latched output O1 to values according to: so the inputs are B1-B4 and DI, output is O1 (from...

Probems with gliching QAUD latch 4043 that stops to latch after a while.

After some close look , its seems that the latch on fast forward output is reseting because of noise from the tape up motor or driver circuit and not a fault condition that is reseting the latch through the logic circuit! I did this: 1 - Connected fast forward Reset R0(3) input to ground 2 -...

Probems with gliching QAUD latch 4043 that stops to latch after a while.

Found the reason why the 4043 resets, I detected a short pulse at pin9 U5 which goes low for a short period to reset the latch , that is derived from the spool motors FaultDetection signal at pin1 of U23. FaultDetection is from drive transistor TIP140 on each motor fead by one dioe on...

Probems with gliching QAUD latch 4043 that stops to latch after a while.

Sorry, I meant pin 8 and 16 1662127799 I replaced the IC, same problem , the inputs are ok, high (5v) as long as the push button is pressed. The problem is that the latch resets for some reason only when in fast spooling mode and the motors are spinning very fast under the load of large...

Probems with gliching QAUD latch 4043 that stops to latch after a while.

Hello, I have a Reel-2-Reel tepe recorder using the 4043 (U4) to latch the 3 control momentory buttons Play, Fast Forward and Fast Rewind The problem is only when selecting fast forward spooling only 10.5" and when it is accelerating , when using 5" all ok :) Problem description...

Burned/heated components inside a power supply

I have a power supply/NiCd charger with burned components on the primary side , R16, R17, R18 are burned, Q3 Switch FET is shorted on all poles D-G-S . what other componets on top of the burned ones recommended to replace ? U2 LT1241 is suspected since R16 and R17 are burned. Thanks

Microphone preamplifier using inverted power source

Normally, at what % load does a dc-dc converter enters burst mode? or is it different on different specific design? counting that consumtion will be around 2.1 Watts from the amplifier, this will be about 35% of full power (6 Watts).

Microphone preamplifier using inverted power source

Yes , you are correct, I will setup and make some readings under load with oscilloscpe/fft analyzer when it arrives at the end of next week. Thanks! 1641655947 I found in the data sheet that ripple and noise at 20 Mhz bandwiidth is 80 mVp-p max. let see how it looks like at +15/-15v output ...
