    Using a MOC3041 @ 125VAC

If someone is interested, i tried it and studied the application notes about this topic, and you can use MOC3041 for 125Vac applications. The 360 and 330 resistors are only for current protection and delaying the switching. Actually, switching is not exactly at 0V but a value depending on 330R...

    3 Phase Power Monitoring

You can use one single channel of ADC for V and one for I and switch between them with an analog multiplexer. for the power supply take a look here https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/00954A.pdf

Converting an analog input called "SPEED" (level=24V) to a signal suitable for MOSFET

Re: Converting an analog input called "SPEED" (level=24V) to a signal suitable for MO you should also take a look on the frequency response of your circuit. It could be (it depends on the frequency of "speed") that you need an specific mos/bjt to convert it as fast as you need!

    Using a MOC3041 @ 125VAC

I'm designing a circuit that should be valid for 220/125Vac (europe and US). There's an AC output, and I'm using a MOC3041. The problem comes when i should activate outpouts of both voltages with the same circuitry, so i can't change between MOC3031 and 3041. Does it should work on both...

    temperature control with microcontroller

You can't use MOC3041, it only connects at zero-crossings, you better use MOC3021

Any need for external zero cross detector.

you can control the speed of the motor giving to the load a certain amount of cicles. This way, if you activate the MOC 50 out of 100 cycles you're giving to the load a 50% of power. The only problem you have with this method is the inertia of your load...

how to translate hex into binary by vhdl

hex to binary converter vhdl signal xx : std_logic_vector (7 downto 0); signal first5bites: std_logic_vector (4 downto 0); first5bites <= xx(4 downto 0); -- or if you want a part of the byte first5bites <= xx (6 downto 2); -- the only condition is you assign a signal or a part of it of...
