what are common mode voltages and how they effect our opamp designs and how we can eleminate them.I would like to know more about opamps.can anybody provide me with some useful links or soft copies.

while using an opamp I got this problem.when one of the opamp supplies is not there then o/p is going to saturation. ie, when -15 V is not given o/p is +14 V and when +15 V is not given o/p is -14 V .
Above is the case independent of feedback configuration and also independent of inv and non-inv...
Hi while I was testing one opamp I tried giving only +ive bias voltage alone it is going to +ive saturation.And when -ive bias alone is given it is going to -ive saturation.
Can any body tell me why it is happening so.
