i have square wave inverter(ups) that problem occurs sometime when the generator starts and it go to charging normally sometimes it become so hot even battery wire also heat.it trip the our generator breaker of 4amps some one can help me in this matter.
actually your ups is square wave and every square wave ups gives 300 output volt
& more without load when you on the load it goes down so you need to add a circuit of pwm which can fix your required voltage.

I am using ups apc smart900 for a long time but one day supply was gone ups giving backup correctly when electric supply came the supply lead burnout i again change its also burnout mean some problem in supply circuit.
So please can any one guys obtain schematcs of apc...
