I want to evaluate pbg stopband from reflection phase but i dont know how to setup incident wave, cut plane and parametric opration exactly. I have already read hfss vector field calculation pdf but still confused.

you can use circular patch antenna.this antenna is omni directional and it ie practical .

this antenna is used in mobile station for example.
this antenna is made from dipole array or microstrip array.

you shoud'nt use antenna for tag because of the tag is be expensive.
you should design agood antenna for reader for example you can use fractal antennas.
for tag you can use a simple antenna for example a simple coil.
