Hi everyone,
I had some troubles with the combination of gatedriver models in my circuit.
I tested three gate driver: IR2117; IR2127; IR2181
When I do simulation for each model --> everything is ok
and when I combined IR2117 and IR2127, it also ok
But the problems occur when I combined...
Dear Keith.
Thank you for your help
I draw my circuit refered "Typical connection" in datasheet
But this time the error like this
X_U1._MD3_DlyLS_N2
RON 1
ROFF 1.000000E+06
VON 4.9
VOFF .1...
Dear
I do step by step to check every components in my circuit, and now I want to test IR2113
I already read datasheet about it, and refered design tips and other posts in this forum. And I connect IR2113 like following figure for checking its operation
But the error
INTERNAL ERROR --...
Dear all,
In the Pspice model of IR2113, there are IR2113 blocka and COMP block like this
.SUBCKT COMP 1 2 3 4
E1 5 4 VALUE={IF((V(1)>V(2)), V(4)+5V, V(4))}
R1 5 3 1
C1 3 4 10P
.ENDS
I think it relate to Vs and Vss offset voltage but I do not know how to use it? (how to connect it with...
About 3.3V logic compatible, I've already understood.
Error: Disk write error. The disk may be full.
I always set ITL4 value smaller than 100. But this error still happened.
You said that "Other reason could be use of behavior sources, which could be leading to unrealistic high or low...
Dear all,
Thanks you everyone who help me about convergence problem. But, unfortunatelly, when I am not success to fix this problem the others come.
This time is:
Overflow, Convert
INTERNAL ERROR -- Overflow, Convert
Run aborted
Disk write error. The disk may be full.
ERROR -- Disk write error...
Dear all,
When I ran my circuit, from the beginning the error occur like this:
Disk write error. The disk may be full.
ERROR -- Disk write error. The disk may be full.
Run aborted
Simulation aborted
From some hints, I already modified Pspice initial file : PSpice.ini by adding...
Dear Mr. Keith
Thanks you for your reply
I've tried with maximum step 10ns but not success. convergence problem appear at 0.22us
How can i set up minimum time step in Orcad Pspice 16.2?
I think the convergence problem may be related to the time step !?
I already applied RC snubber circuit...
Dear all,
How can I extend simulation time in Pspice?
I am doing DC/AC converter with real gate driver.
I also read many convergence problem but I can not solve.
my system has RC circuit time constant: Tau=0.235us
switching frequency: f=5kHz ==> T =0.2ms
output frequency f=60Hz
When I...
Hi atripathi,
thanks you for your help.
But actually, I need to do simulate with Gate driver model. I think the circuit is ok but the problem came from the pspice program. (for example: this circuit can run at some specified TSTOP and maximum step, but with other values the convergence problem...
many things happen.
In some lucky time, I choosed TSTOP, and maximum step size : the system can run to 2.5ms
when I want to extent Tstop or adjust maximum step size: the convergence appear.
may be the time when two switch transfer, the current sharply increase, but i already try to avoid dead...
Hi, i saw many files which were created from program. So I copy all of this. Please noted me if you cannot open this model
In this circuit, there are some differences from above circuit. In this case, I use full bridge circuit because I afraid of the effect of load, so i choose the R load.
The...
Thanks
i used ground type 0/CAPSYM and my circuit can run.
But It can run only with TSTOP = 2.5ms, and the maximum step =10u
When I change maximum step value the convergence problem still happen.
How can I setup this value correctly?
Now, I want to increase the simulation time to 5ms, how...
