I'm planning for a circuit that can detect current flow through a conducting cable ( LIVE WIRE ) . And I hope to achieve this using 16F87* family PIC IC with a analog to digital converter inbuilt .
So first I want to detect the current flow using a CURRENT TRANSFORMER and use that output...
I have a current line connected to a load, where I want to measure the AMPERAGE of . So I thought of using a CURRENT TRANSFORMER and get the analog input of that CT to 16F8xx family PIC IC . And to drive a LCD from that PIC to show the output of the current .
