need antenna @60Mhz transmitting upto 20 metres

I think the way is only the "shorten" electrically the radiator, on pcb try to fold a structure to get somehow a resonance, should be ok for 20 meters and nothing in between Freddy

    ULTRA WIDEBAND POWER AMPLIFIER DESIGN

Interesting company, although the webpage appears to be 3rd class interesting products..anyone knows something about the prices compared to motorola? They seem to cut cost where they can, so do they give it to the coustomers? :)

tutorial cst May be you can put the examples etc. at MCU: **broken link removed**

    Request: RF CHAIN CALCULATIONS

There is a lite version of syscalc 5, which is sufficent for most cases. But also for that they want some registering. Freddy

    Request: RF CHAIN CALCULATIONS

best (because most handy): h**p://www.hp.woodshot.com/ even better(but needs register): h**p://www.ardentech.com/syscalc.asp rock it! Freddy

cst use - any documentation needed

Re: cst use Maybe some can put there as well some example files from CST, there are "Distributions" that do not contain any.. Freddy

    M*W*O and agilents atf series

Still I think this is no full implementation of the Advanced Curtice II, which Agilent uses. I have attached the part of the datasheet and marked the parameters that need to be included. Maybe someone else get this pumped into MW0... Freddy

Did somebody test amplifier RGA4905 of TRIQUINT?

triquint tga4905 price Yes nice power ;-) 4W on 24Ghz is a show.. Can you obtain it? In Europe very popular is the CHA 5093TLF, a 1W MMIC at reasonable cost. 73 Freddy

    M*W*O and agilents atf series

Hi, anyone used Microwave 0ffice to model some of the newer ATFs from Agilent(ATF54xxx, ATF33xxx). The used Advanced Curtice 2 model seems to be incompatible with all implemented models in MWO... AWR doesn't like Agilent?? Freddy

Req: PCB Material for 5.6 or 5.8GHz Design

pcb roger layer ghz Would not use FR4 for any 6GHz design. If you have no problem with the losses be aware that the eps_r drops down with frequency. Its at 4.2 at 2 Ghz (ca. values) coming from >5 at DC. May measure it. Otherwise RO4003 is the best choice with care to the costs. Freddy

help with nonlinear simulation with M/W/O 2001

Hi, I want to simulate the output IP3 of a LNA design with M/w/O 2001. Or IM3 behaviour. Can it be done from the S-Parameters? How is it done in detail? What source? tnxxx Freddy

U/V hpa design - advice needed

Re: U/V hpa Power, Gain, Bandwidth, Vcc? I have a GS31b russian triode amp givin me 700W out at 432 Mhz, but I suppose thats not what you are looking for ;-) Freddy

linearizer for DVB power amplifier - any producers?

Linearizer Hi, this linearizer thing is interesting...they talk about it like some kind of mysterium, but it isnt. They have some interestings pdfs at www.lintech.com... linear amps to the world.. Freddy
