Hello ,
I am runing an HFSS-IE simulation.
1st I have been simulating a dish feed and I've got correct results in HFSS.
2nd I have open an HFSS-IE design in the same project tree and I have described a 2m dish.
The simulation works OK and I get perfect results for the dish illuminated by the...
Hello ,
I would like to understand at what distance HFSS computes the far field amplitude and phase? I want to simulate the e field phase at a given distance ( but in the far field zone) while moving the horn generating this field +/- from the reference plane.
Is it OK to move the horn and...
Hello ,
I am trying to model an array of full wave dipoles in front of a plane reflector. The dipoles are fed in their centers by open wire lines ( symetric transmission line). As the antenna works at 1.3Ghz , getting a good in phase alimentation of all the dipoles is important.
Of course I...
Hello ,
true , I often, get this pb as well. It looks like the structure ( mesh?) is resonnating.
I've tried to refine the mesh , but the pb was still there , so I have no idea on how to solve this. I have been told the V11 HFSS version solves this?

Hello ,
I have what I find quite misleading results under HFSS. The air box size used for far field computations plays quite an important role on the results.
Of course I use a minimum size which is big enougth ( quarter wave around the structure) , but when I try to vary the size of the box (...
Hello ,
I have great experience on NEC , but I am totally newcomer with HFSS.
I want to model an antenna which is built like this:
A full wave round loop in front of an full wavelength circular reflector ( refl to loop distance is lambda/8) .
No problem to build the model , but the results I...
