Re: matlab toolbox?
You can also use it for time series identification , where the input is not known, but assumed to be white noise. This is used to model stationary random series.

Hello,
Does anybody have any electonic manuals on honeywell tdc 3000 system. Basic introductory stuff. and maybe even on the control-language CL????
Thanks...

pid control in c++
PID control refers to a three term controller:
P: proportional.... P control alone leads to offset (output doesnt reach setpoint)
I: Integral : I control will remove offset... can introduce oscillations
D: Derivative: D term can help stabilize system, and but...

Re: Taylor series
For simplcity consider only a taylor expansion truncated after the first derivative.
You perform the taylor expansion about a given point Xo.
This means we are approximating the function (curve) at Xo with a straight line with a slope equal to the derivative at Xo.
Draw...
You might try MATLAB software....
They have a simple command to produce a Bode plot of a given system:
the command would be something like this:
z=tf('z',T) % T is your sampling time
g= 1+3*z^-1+6*z^-2+..... % g is your FIR filter, ^ means "to the...
Re: mathematic book?
I am guessing you might be interested in learning about set theory (axiomatic or naive) as a starting point. This combined with logic seem to form the foundation of all mathmatics.
From there, make sure you study some real-analysis. There is probably not a single text...
Kalman filters are usually used to estimate the 'states' of a system.
The states of a system are defined as the information needed to predict the future response of the system given the future inputs. Many times it is not possible or too expensive to measure all of the system states, or they...
