relation between baud rate and carrier frequency

relation between data rate and frequency hi, Where did you see that in psk modulations Fc=n/Ts?????? The bandwith of the signal is proportional to 1/Ts but the carrier frequency has nothing to do with Ts. I hope this helps regards

    Synplify®, Synplify Pro®, and Synplify Premier 8.8.0.4

hi, I have a 1-year-license for synplify Pro but I have a problem. The synthesis of my design in synplify (free) uses 78% of the FPGA (rtax2000S) while in synplify Pro it uses 105%!!!! I haven't compared both report files in detail yet. Meanwhile I do it, ¿do you know what may be happening? ¿is...

    antenna for TETRA (400 MHz)

tetra400 Hi all, I need information about antennas for TETRA. I've read they are based on monopoles mostly and I wonder if they can be improved by using dipoles or other structures. thanks in advance regards

how to remove noise in 4QAM transmission?

Hi all, the optimum receiver would have a matched filter at the begining. this filter (root raised cosine e.g.) maximizes de SNR in AWGN environment, thus minimizes noise n(t). regards Dani

    circular patch antenna measurements

Thank you guys, I think I will be able to measure what caocao said while waiting for the true CP antenna. regards

    circular patch antenna measurements

hi all, Can I measure, or at least characterize in some way (axial ratio e.g.), a Circularly polarized antenna in an anechoic chamber where the known antenna has linear polarizacion? thanks

AM / FM Electronic Antenna ??? patch antenna??

hi, I don't think you can achieve those specifications with patch antennas because their radiation efficiency is very low. And also, at those frequency it would be huge! I would try dipoles and yagi antennas either. regards

Looking for a book about Maxwell's equation in a microstrip line

Re: microstrip line hi, search in the forum for: Microwave Engineering, by David M.Pozar.

I need a help about RF!

hi, as melc said, the electric field value changes from a maximum to a minimum every lambda/2 at every point of the TL. the voltage takes a form like this V(z,t)=ctte * e^(-jBz)*e^(j2*pi*f*t) in and ideal TL So it is clear that the amplitud doesn't change along the direction of propagation z...

    Typical relative permittivity values

hi all, typically patch antennas have very bad efficiency (around 80% as maximum). The most important parameter for avoiding extra loss is the "loss tangent" (tand). For example I designed a CP patch antenna with RT Duroid6002 (rogers) because of its low tand = 0.0012., and epsilon =2.1. I...

I need a help about RF!

hi, there is no voltage drop as long as the transmission line (TL) is an ideal TL, which never occurs in real world. this means that amplitud would remain constant along the whole TL. What happens in reality is that TL are lossy so there is an attenuation parameter (everywhere called alpha) that...

    SAW filter frequency response verify

hi all, typically, SAW filter manufacturers provide input and output matching networks specifically designed for their filters. I have tried Vectron Saw filters and there is no better way to match them. hope this helpsw regards

    ADconverter maxwell 7672

hi all, I need to aquire signal with an 7672 AD controlled by FPGA. I found the datasheet a bit confusing and with little infomation. Has somebody worked with it? I need more info on operation overview as well as timing features, so as to start programming the FPGA as soon as possible :) ...

    Circular WG WR75 (Ku band)

hi all, does anybody know if there is a standard WR75 circular waveguide. I know there are WR75 rectangular WG but no idea about circular. thanks
