as far as i know, it include the phase noise in each module(divider, charge pump, vco and etc) by simple addition. but this document just indicate that we should include the phase noise of each module, but how can i got the phase noise of divider and charge...

I use a piecewise linear approximation to achieve logarithmic function.
When I simulate the RSSI transfer curve, the dynamic range is very low.

I read the paper IEEE Transaction on Instrumentation and Measurement VOL 40, No3, JUNE 1991.
a three stage sigma delta moduletor is implementated by accumulator.

I just add some on chip decoupling capacitor for the 8-bit MCU.
but I just wonder whether or not it will have any side effect.
as far as I know, the side effect are:
1) some leakage due to the MOS cap
2) the power noise may coupling from the decap to analog circuit if adding improperly.
