Speed controller for 8-9 A radiator motor

I am going to use the speed controller (in attached image) for my 8-9 A 12V radiator motor. Is it better choice, if not, then which one would be better? Will it also cause to take less Amp from battery? Thanks

NEED Tr.. BASED ELECTRONIC BALLEST CIRCUIT DIAGRAM AND DESIGN DETAILS

Really interesting posts here. I want a ballast circuit for 6W UV tube. Which one can I use? You can also suggest some changes to any one.

    Making a special FM transmitter

I would like to make a FM transmitter but would like that only mine FM receiver can take my transmitter. To perform this, I imagine I also need to make some alterations in FM receiver (that is usually accessible in market). Please direct me what are the major things I need to modify or do in...

Using L298 only for unipolar motor

Is it possible to use only stand alone L298 for unipolar motor and what will be the frequency rate (Steps per second)? Last time I have seen how to use it for unipolar but now I could not find that again. There is attached sample schematic.

    L297 & L298N for unipolar stepping motor

Thanks for reply. that is good but is the ULN2075 can provide me 1000 steps per second? I also read that an unipolar can be use as bipolar by omitting common wire completely. Now can I use my unipolar in this way with my above schematic?

    L297 & L298N for unipolar stepping motor

Hi, I am intended for build the driver for my unipolar stepping motor using L297 & L298N according to the attached schematic. I imagine it is for bipolar stepping motor because there is not one place to connect stepping motor common wire. Please show me how I can utilize this driver for unipolar...

    Making switching NPN with PNP

There is a small circuit schematic attached where I am using voltage regulator 7812. I input 24VDC and 12VDC comes out from OUT pin. I want to make switch off & on NPN transistor with 12VDC buy using PNP transistor before NPN. And I will use PC printer port to provide the 1 & 0 pulse of 5VDC...

    TIP142 Stepper motor driver

Thanks, in First Stepper Circuit, 1N4001 is used, but I am operating the circuit at 24V, then is it right diodes to use. Or is there need to use other diodes.

    TIP142 Stepper motor driver

Now following stepper driver is successful to run the steps of motor. But there is a problem that the transistors turn hot very quickly. What is problem here. I think the resistor is small. Is it?

    TIP142 Stepper motor driver

Thanks guys, I have try to install 1K variable resistor and have adjust it to many values. But still the motor does not move any step. Is there any way to troubleshoot the circuit?

    TIP142 Stepper motor driver

Now, I have try this circuit with 24V DC, 1.7Amp power supply. But still the motor does take any step (forward or backward). I think the value of resister is very much big. What it should be?

    TIP142 Stepper motor driver

Thanks, how about the value of resistor?
