I have an ATV71HD30N4, and today it failed. Now, when I try to run, it doesn't move and when running a self diagnose it appears "IGBT 2 OPEN". And there are a total of 6 IGBT in the list.

Today I made a terrible mistake. I connected a SIEMENS MICROMASTER 440 220VAC input to 440VAC. After some seconds, smoke appears and I cut the circuit braker. Then, I change power supply to 220VAC (correct) and when turn on the braker, something blew up inside the VFD.

I have an assembler sub-routine for PIC 16F876A. It uses TMR1 as 16 bit counter and then convert it into 5 BCD registers.

I use to make some boards, with ORCAD 9.0 software. But I think learning PADS power pcb shouldn't be a problem. Can you explain a little more about why to use specific software and maybe post an schematic of a pcb you have, as an example?

problem is that .hex file created by MikroC is only for the PIC you selected when coding. Then, error maybe happens because there is no registers coincidence between 16F54 and the one you selected.
I suggest you to use MPLAB, or maybe you should look up for a C to ASM code converter, and then...

It is a good idea, but you should have an idea of current in order to select a correct resistor because of power disipation. Remember any resistor value in ohm have different power dissipation (most common 1/4 watt, 1/2W, 1W, etc).

I have a RS485 network, with a PC as master and 10 slave controllers. PC is used to record temperatura information from controllers, and gathered in hard disk. Problem is sometimes information is lost in any controller (but just one of them).

It will be better if you post a schematic page. But, in case of conditioning circuit, what you can do is calculate current through very component like resistors and inductive loads. Then multiply it by the voltage drop in that component and finally sum all results.
