Yes, that is exactly what I'm asking. What would be the maximum that an 0805 size solder bridge can withstand? Are there any rules of thumb to estimate?
I have made a quick schematic to illustrate my question with R252 being the solder bridge or jumper resistor.
By positive side do you mean the input side of the regulator? If I disconnect the input side then I won’t be able to measure my output voltage to ensure it’s correct
Let me try again :
I have a 12V to 1V/1.2V/0.85V voltage regulator to power an FPGA. I don’t want the FPGA powered up as soon as...
Hi all,
If I’d like to isolate the output of my voltage regulator from the power plane, would it be better to use a solder bridge/blob or a 0 ohm resistor?
If the regulator voltage output is max 10A @ 1.2V what is the maximum current that an 0805 sized solder blob can carry and how would I...
Hi
So I've built a dc electronic load as in the pic attached (courtesy of https://www.codrey.com/electronic-circuits/simple-electronic-dc-load/).
I'm having a problem adjusting the current draw though. As I understand it, turning the pot should adjust your current draw? That is having no...
Hi
I have a DC-DC voltage regulator (Input 12V, Output 3.3V/1A). I would like to use a mosfet as a dummy load to vary the output of the regulator, steadily increase the current. Would this be possible with the mosfet alone or would I have to use the mosfet as a switch for a seperate dummy...
Thanks,
It's just a filtered sin wave : 4 sin(500t) + sin (15000t) to be shifted by 60 degrees.
So shifting first then using a schmitt trigger should be okay?
Hi
If I need to convert a sine wave to a phase shifted square wave, would the simplest way be to use a phase shift RC oscillator after a Schmit trigger?
Hi
I just need some clarification regarding a LPF design.
I have a signal f(t)= 4 sin(500t)+ sin(15000t) and want to filter out the high frequencies by at least 20dB.
I’m confused about the 20dB, does that just refer to the roll-off rate?
Would a RC or RLC LPF be better in this case...
Hi all,
Does anyone know if it's possible to use the Microchip LAN8710A Ethernet Phy with SFP instead of RJ45?

Hi!
The Allegro files for the Beaglebone Black Rev C are available but unfortunately the Altium files are only for version A5B.
To convert the Allegro files to Altium, you need a licensed version of Allegro, which I do not have.
Has anyone already converted the .brd files to Altium?
Much...
