Why intermediate frequency for fm is 10.7 mhz and for am 455k hz??
One reason is it should not be in tuning range 0f am and fm 88to 108mhz
why only that number 10.7m ,455k why not other numbers LIKE 9.7m 11.7m etc??
Plz explain me...

in this tutorial they say that in ofdm transmitter fft can be used in place of ifft and ifft in place of fft
is it true?
or fft transmitter must have ifft?
if fft is used in transmitter will there be mapper? bz it only converting input bit sequence in to complex...

to maintain orthogonality there should be integral no of cycles in ifft period T but as cyclic prefix is added its time period T will increase

what is the use of ifft block in ofdm ?
asn: to provide orthogonal between carriers..
and to conver freq to time domain but how can we know ( before ifft block )it is in frequency domain?
why can't we use fft block in transmitter and ifft blok in rx?
diff bet mapper and modulator??
