    Re: Cavity filters Hey,I introduce you to use WASP-NET for waveguide filter design. ,which is a very professional tool based on Moment-Method,FEM and mainly on mode matching method.

    cavity filter design I have down a Ansoft Designer SV for it is free,but I found it too simple to design cavity filter,have you used Ansoft Designer 1.2 or any higher edition,I think it could be better.

    I have drawn a helix in HFSS9.2,firstly,u can draw a round,select the face ,then select the choice:sweep along helix in the menu,input the Parameters you need. Hope I have helped you

    Re: Rectangular WG To put it briefly ,the wide side of the wavelength must be longer than the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode.
