Hmm, let's see:
Rin=(R1||R2)||hie , where hie is the impedance between base and emitor in common emitor mode.
hie=β/gm, where gm=Ic/Vth, where Vth=K*T/q.
gm=40*Ic ( mA/V ) @ 25 Celsius ( ambient temperature )

i think both solutions create problems.
1. we can't make a ground with the soundboard, because we'll short-circuit the
-12V ( ground ) coil.
i've tested it with a big primary coil of a transformer, and 10.000uF capacitors, and it doesn't work when the supply current of the amplifier is low...
yes, the battery is dead in almost 95% of cases.
you can try to fix it by charging it at a low current for one or 2 days,
after that please use it until a complete discharge.
repeat the process for 4-5 times.
it should work, but the method is not guranteed.

Almost sure a supply problem.
Check the power source.
Also please connect an analog multimeter between high capacitors leads, to find if you have some short-circuit.
If you repair the power supply, you should have something on the screen.
Also check the HV...

You'll choose Icq in function of your application purpose.
Work at low signal ( the variable component should be 10% or less of the continous application ).
It depends where you'll use BC547 ( amplifier, mixer, SMPS etc etc )

Can anyone help with a library for Pspice, Orcad 9.2?
Also i need a good library, which should contain some chopper transformers, to use them in the simulations.
