I have a 3 watt single LED flashlight that I am using for microscope illumination. It is powered by 3 AAA cells in series ( I'm assuming 4.5 v).
I'd like to run this off an AC-to-DC switching power supply which I have that is rated at 5V 2A. I have another "AC Adapter" rated at 5V 500ma.
