[question] is it possible to write a program to MCU using serial RS232 and UART
can i send the program that i'm writing for the PIC on to it using UART and rs232 from the PC?
Re: create footprint
it's good, but for much older version. Layout is no longer in Orcad distribution
thats very nice though i didn find what im looking for.
very helpfull
thank you both for your response
hello, i'm trying to design some basic PCB with elementaric components. my only problem is that the MCU is not elementary and i need to make a fottprint for this MCU. Freescale mc13213. i dont know how to do it.
i have full version Allegro & OrCAD 16.3
Thank you.
antenna model
more specific.
i'm getting this messege : "port number 1 is filled with metal. maybe the background material is defined as PEC?" when i'm running the transient solver.
model is added - please explain the problem.
cst patch antenna
thank you.
i have this tutorial and familier with the info it contains.
saw all the video guide - it's great.
the problem is that it's not covers all the functions in CST. and it's have nothing about patch antenna.
that's why i'm asking for a built model of a patch antenna...
what is 3db frequency
the transformation from power units - Watts to dB are done by:
10*log(Watts)=[dB]
and 3 dB is the half of the whole power.
for example: lets take 5000 [Watts]
10*log(5000)=36.989 [dB]
and now let take only a half of that 2500[Watts]
10*log(2500)=33.979[dB]
as you can...
patch antenna cst
hello everyone.
i'm new to CST MW, i've read all CST guides and i still can't get the farfield simulation of some antenna.
can someone upload any model that runs well?
