i am doing a hobby project of sending sms through a gsm modem(SIM300) using 8051(P89V51RD2) microcontroller.I managed to send sms from GSM modem through hypertermial.I also managed to send AT commands from the microcontroller to the hyperterminal.But when the microcontroller is connected...
I have got my wrong point.The 8051 has no USB hosting capability.Nokia E71 is having usb data cable only and which also act as a slave.The best way is to change my mobile phone having a serial port data cable.Can any body suggest the best and cheapest current model?
me too have the same problem....i used an RS232 to USB converter with an external power source(since it is USB powered) but no positive result.kindly help.......
