hi,
plz help me to design an antenna for RFID reader which has frequency 125Khz. I have the antenna of RFID reader in rectangular shape but want to design in the form which can be wounded on a stick.
the designed antenna should be like below attachment.
are ultrasonic receiver activated just by the received pulse or there need a circuit to activate it? can i check the receiver frequency simply by connecting two ends of receiver to probes of oscilloscope?

i think 40 Khz ultrasonic transducer need about 18 pk-pk voltage to transmit waves. but 7404N inverter operates at 5V. so how to get voltage of 18V for tx.

i am designing a smart cane that is used to detect the obstacle using ultrasonic sensor.
the ultrasonic transmitter uses 40 Khz frequency pulses with pk-pk voltage nearly 18 volts. the circuit i have uses nand gate, transistor and then not gate amplify the pulses coming from 555 timer...
