Strange response in a circuit - need verification

Strange resp. Hello, if your frequency source is f1, the time step of simulator must > 1/(2f1) (Nyquist theorem). So f1=100MHz, like your circuits, the time step must be > 5nsec. Kind regards.

How a transistor can be used to switch between 2.5V and 5.0 volts ?

transistor switch I'm agree with electronics_kumar with the notice that on saturation region the output will go to 0.2V,if u take the output on the collector, so u must split the resistance on the collector in two resistance, so that on saturation R2*Ic_sat=2.5V... see the attchement.. regards

    Problems with Colpitts oscillator

collpits oscillator in multisim Hi... i think knowing the reason for which your simulation don't start!!! Obviously we start from the point that the circuit gets the Barkausen conditions.... u should verify these conditions opening the loop in a good point and verify that they are fulfilled...

    Selecting a Wideband LNA Transistor

Hi, your choice is correlated about the NF and gain that u need (really IP3 could be important too). At the higher frequency band (6GHz for u), more gain u need higher the transition frequency must be. Philips bjt, like BFG425W could be good (ft=25GHz), but u could use BFU510 or BFU540 Philips...

want a superabrupt varactor operating at S band

Hi, if u visit the Infineon site: https://www.infineon.com u can find the right varicap for your application. Varicap like BB831, BB833, BB837 and BB857 are used for SAT application, until 2.5GHz, with your specifications about capacitance range and maximum voltage applicable.... The best for me...

A question about digital-modulated signal amplification

Hi... One non constant envelope modulated signal has information into its phase and amplitude (AM). So if u use a non linear amp, like a class C amplifier that works in saturation, the signal's envelope will be flatted and the information that was on the envelope lost. Another problem is that u...

    Books about ultrawideband LNAs

Ultrawideband LNA hi... i have done in the past some large band amplifier and i have seen that feedback amplifier are the best. Usually it's preferible to use low loss components, so inductance (for example inductance emitter degeneration) or transformer (emitter out /base input) for getting...

Info on using Microwave Office for amplifier design

amplifier design I use Microwave Office every day... if u give me your mail i can give u same templates or give some help for designing your amplifiers.. i have designed lumped and mixed lumped/microstrip low noise, low level amplifiers up to 1GHz.... alex_vettoriale
