LEDs used in outdoor sign boards

LEDs used in Outdoor Digital Sign Boards Hi - I recently got a project of designing an 'Outdoor' digital sign boards that can display color pictures etc. I know that the LEDs that are used in outdoor digital sign boards are not regular LEDs. They are very high power LEDs (or LED bulbs) that one...

    Designing with micro-controller(8051)

microcontroller c51 start by making a project of Pulse generator of different frequencies. It is the basic that will be used in most of the projects. Then generate pulses by timers.......after that use timmer interepts for generating pulses. After learning the basics move towards projects like...

How to connect an IO device to a 8086 CPU

Sure it is possible to connect an I/O device to the 8086 CPU without PIC. U need buffers (like 74245) and latches (like 74373). U dont essentially need to use the interrupt vector table unless u have a HUGE task to perform. Simple IN and OUT instructions can be used to move data from I/O devices

Looking for microcontroller with integrated USB port

USB microcontroller hi there are a no. of microcontroller that have USB port. Especially most of the newly introduced micros have buildin USB port. If u wanna use a micro-controller with USB, first of all look that which microcontroller u have worked previously (like Atmel, pic etc) then search...

Which micros family is better AVR or ARM?

avr versus arm what is the better ARM micros are the best.....If u have a choice to choose between ARM and AVR and u want to do any ONE of them, then i suggest u to learn ARM. ARM micros can be used for big/complex projects and it can do every thing (as far as i know) that AVR micros can do but...

i am beginner, how to study analog circuit design?

u have to go through a lot of books for getting some command over analog circuit design..start with simple networks consisting if Resistors and capacitors...then move forward to network consisting of diodes, transistors etc..i suggest "Engineering Circuit Analysis" by WILLIAM HYATT a nice book.
