GNSS Receiver designed IC circuit noise issues

the screen shorts I provided are just based on the BGA circuit, no input was provided, just vcc which in turn gave us that amplified noise, the main issue I thought is that the vcc cable works as a antenna so we shielded them, but still nothing changed.

GNSS Receiver designed IC circuit noise issues

Hello everyone I wanted to share with you the design of a 2-layer full GNSS board that I have recently developed using Direct RF sampling architecture. The board consists of several blocks, each equipped with SMA input/output connectors, as well as an SMA connection between VCC and GND to check...

    NT1065_USB3 GPS L1 detection issues

Hello everyone, I'm seeking assistance with the nt1065_USB3 GNSS receiver manufactured by ntlabs. I've been facing difficulties despite my efforts to make it work properly. Here's a breakdown of my setup and the challenges I'm encountering: Hardware: Active antenna: Link to active antenna...

    nt1065_USB3 gnss receiver

hello I really need some help with the nt1065_USB3 GNSS receiver made by ntlabs, I have used active antenna as an RF input unfortunately still can not see any signal and used only for L1 band (active antenna ...

    MAX2771 digital output processing

my intention is to stream the digital data over TCP/IP from the board to the PC then ill do direct processing to extract GPS PVT

    MAX2771 digital output processing

aha okay for the teensy there are 2 options (USB2.0) or ethernet , I want to use ethernet to be able to use the tcp/ip for direct real time processing. for the STM32H750 I will use ethernet .

    MAX2771 digital output processing

for the STM32H750 microprocessor we can use keil u vision yet it is very complicated compared to teensy the STM32H7 boards are considered faster than teensy thats why I think about using it.

    MAX2771 digital output processing

The ADC can go up to 44Msample/s but I will probably use 4-8 MS/S for the GPS L1 band only. I am not sure yet for the teensy the Arduino programming interface IDE is used to program the board and print into it serial interface. As for the STM32 board I am not sure about the interface yet.

    MAX2771 digital output processing

I am working on reading an External 3 bit parallel CMOS ADC (44MSPS) digital output through teensy 4.0/4.1 or /STM32 boards , my only concern if the boards can handle this amount of samples then print them in the IDE serial monitor in directly in real time ? I have CLK_OUT pin from the ADC can I...

    GPS receivers Front-End Design Problems

you are actually correct I am inspired with that paper Therefore I am trying to make a prototype then improve on it, this is just the first prototype. I am Just trying to learn. If there any suggestions that could help me solve this problem I would really appreciate it .

    GPS receivers Front-End Design Problems

This is the layout of the circuit currently I am not using any splitCombs Instead I just short circuited the RF line to BPF1 line to just use the L1 band . The screen shots I provided are taken from the PCB that has no BGA3 and VGA. The PCB is 4-layer PCB (1st-Layer=microstrip (50ohm...

    GPS receivers Front-End Design Problems

thank you for replying, I realized that the amount of amplification is a lot therefore I removed the VGA and BGA3 to just amplify with only LNA+BGA1+BGA2 which is actually the output of the screen shots I provided in thread, when it comes to the PCB I designed 4-layer PCB (1stlayer=microstrip...

    GPS receivers Front-End Design Problems

    I am designing a GPS L1(PWR=-160dBW) band Direct RF sampling receiver and the front-end: (passive antenna + LNA(21dB) + BGA1(30dB) + jumper + BPF(L1(fc=1575.42MHz,BW=15MHZ) + BGA2 (30dB) + BGA3(30dB) + VGA(-13.5 to +18 Gain Control in 0.5 dB Steps) ). all amplifiers are supplied with a +5 V...

    GPS L1 Receiver Noise

    I am designing a GPS L1 band Direct RF sampling receiver and the front-end goes like this : (passive antenna + LNA(25dB) + GBA + jumper + BPF(L1) + GBA(23dB) + GBA(23dB) + VGA(-13.5 to +18 Gain Control in 0.5 dB Steps) ) supplied with a +5 V power with decoupling capacitors and a circuit switch...
