I know OVSF codes are used for channelization in UMTS , I'd like to know , in a normal voice call , is the same OVSF code used for uplink and downlink ?
Also in which channel are the OVSF codes assigned ? is it the FACH ?

I mean is Ki (used in the authentication ) user specific , that is each SIM card has a different Ki and the AUC uses the Ki specific to each user using IMSI-Ki mapping or what's the deal ?

in downlink , channelisation codes are used to distinguish different channels from same basestation ,while scrambling codes distinguish different basestations
in uplink , scrambling codes distinguish different users (mobiles) while channelization codes distinguish different channels from same...
for NMOS to be in saturation --> Vgd must be ≤ Vthn .... i.e Vds ≥ Vgs -Vthn
for PMOS to be in saturation --> Vdg must be ≤ |Vthp| .... i.e Vds ≤ Vgs + |Vthp|
i.e Vsd ≥ Vsg - |Vthp|
i.e |Vds| ≥ |Vgs| - |Vthp|

first , i dont know what do u mean by coherent B.W .... coherent comm. system is a type of comm. systems in which we must have carrier at the Rx for demodulation ... the B.W for this sytem differs from that of noncoherent system
about ISI it stands for InterSymbol Interference...
