dear all
why is flicker noise lower in bjt then in mos, and lower in pmos than in nmos ? dows anyone have a paper or ebook describing this issue in details...?
thank you very much 8)
ads momentum
Dear all
i'm using ADS to simulate spiral inductors using momentum simulation... the result is always in s parameters. Is there a methos to get result in z parameters (to extract inductance, series resistance, and capacitance) ?
thank you all... :)
Dear all
does anyone have Matlab's RF toolbox...? i need the file s2z.m which conversts s parameters to z parameters or s2y.m which converts s parameters to y parameters.....
thank you all :)
Re: who can tell me how can i get vco specifications for 802
Dear pigkiller
check this link of GetIEEE802 program where u can find almost all IEEE802 standards for free... but not always complete...!
**broken link removed**
I worked a lot in this point ( finding VCO specifications based on...
substrate capacitance calculate
Dear all
how to get the substrate capacitance for any process (for e.g TSMC035). i.e. what parameters are used to calculate the substrate capacitance
Re: TSMC 0.18u inductor- VCO
i attached the paper for u in my last post. it's name is "Large-Signal Analysis of MOS Varactors in CMOS -Gm LC VCOs"
good luck :)
If no current source is used ,the output oscillation swings between -Vdd and Vdd. If a current source is added the oscillation amplitude will be equal to IbiasXRtank (for IbiasXRtank<Vdd) and Vdd elsewhere. Thus output amplitude can be controlled better and thus improving VCO linearity is...
