any idea

hi,zer,
i am trying to implement Yangs fingerprint enhancement algorithm(using modified gabor filter). i have to find the ridge width and valley width of fingerprint in each block using the x-signature of each block this method is not clear for me, if u have any idea pls post.
thnks in advance
