Ferrites [hlp]

hello
Why Ferrites are used in power amplifier circuits? What is their function? pls expln. Is there any useful document about this subject?

Re: Ferrites [hlp]

Basically their role is the same as iron as core material for mains transformers or inductors.
Ferrites has allso unilateral properties in permanent magnetic field and this is exploited at microwaves (look what is circulator).
