They have isolated outputs and yet do not need to be. (since the LED load is encased in a earthed enclosure etc and no-one can touch it)
It is a statement of absolute fact that generally speaking, an isolated offline SMPS will have a worse EMC spectrum than a non isolated one…so why are these led drivers isolated?......EMC componentry would be cheaper if they were non isolated, EMC would be easier and cheaper to pass if they were non isolated.
