Why all registers of IC ADE7754 takke the default value after power is off?

i use the IC ade7754 , calibration
when the power is off it turns to default status and all registers take the default value.
why ??????

Hello,
In the datasheet of ADE7754 said that the registers will reset. Therefore the calibration must be loaded in EEPROM memory of the MCU(for example) and calibrate the ADE7754 everytime
