Why 1khz bandwidth for CT?

Hi,
Do you know why the BW of this CT is only max of 1khz?


We need it for fast short cct turn off in our switching converter...but its BW is so low.
 

D'oh - that is the freq range - suggested - not the BW - I doubt they have ever measured, properly the BW

a standard 1000:1 or 500:1 mains CT, class 0.5 has a surprising wide BW .... and fast rise time ...
