We are looking for such a component that a rising edge of a pulse can trigger the component to generate a wave of only 10bits. The 10bits can be some predetermined ID number.
The solution we figure out is to get the sequence of 10 bits from a 10bits data selector. We connect a clock to a clock generator, connect the clock generator to a counter, and connect the counter to the data selector. We add some logics to the counter so that the counter resets itself and the clock when it counts to 10.
But we still wish some more sophisticated designs. We guess there might be some manufactured IC components already on the market that do this job. But we are not electronics major and feel nowhere to find it.
So we greatly need help from experts here to give us more information and suggestions.
Thanks a lot
